issue where portfolio generates 404 messages used to be repairable by flushing permalinks.
This no longer works. Any ideas?May 3, 2011 at 10:00 am #45064
Can you provide more details of the actual bug you’re having, including a URL?
Please also disable any plugins / widgets which call in code from other sites and attempt to reflush the permalinks.

we released an update for Avisio some weeks ago (Version 1.x). The update should fix your permalink problems. You can download it @themeforest.net (free of course). After installation flush the permalinks again to be on the save sideMay 4, 2011 at 6:57 pm #45067
I have had trouble getting wordpress to install zip files and so I unpacked and uploaded the updated version of Avisio, but still have the error. Don’t know if I have the updated version running, but still get the error. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!May 4, 2011 at 9:54 pm #45068
I am running Avisio 1.2.1 and my portfolios are broken as well. You can’t go to the individual portfolio posts from the backend either.
/portfolio/ keeps being added automatically, then the 404 page.

Can you check there are no other pages / posts / categories or anything else named “portfolio” – this is a known problem with WordPress 3.1+ that you can’t have 2 elements with the same name as it causes a 404 error on both.
Please clear all your W3 Total Cache caches and then reflush (i.e. save) the permalinks.

No, nothing like that.
Just consistent 404 errors.
Perhaps you would like to take a look? rather the speculate?May 6, 2011 at 4:12 am #45072May 7, 2011 at 12:38 pm #45073
