    Hi There,

I have this website up working fine for nearly a year. My client requested some updates, which I am in the process of doing. There are some bugs that have appeared that I need some help urgently to resolve:

1: On my white background sections the fruit background from the demo is now showing? Why, and how do I get rid of it?
2: Any content I place after the footer section is in a boxed layout? – I deleted these sections, and now the footer is in a boxed layout?

Can you please login and sort it out as soon as possible.

    Thanks,

    Neil

    Hey jonojnz,

about which fruit are you talking about? I can’t find it. Screenshots would help.

There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:

Hi I managed to get rid of the background by setting a new image over the background and then deleting it. . .

So with the theme re installation – will it clear my theme settings or change anything else about the site?

I need to be completely confident that the site will look exactly the same (as it should be) because it is live, so needs to be resolved smoothly.

    Can you confirm this?

    Hi there,

Uploaded new theme files via FTP. Problem still persists. Now that that is done, can you please login, take a proper look and resolve?

    Thanks in advance,

    Neil

    Hi,

Please refrain from bumping or replying to your own thread because it gets pushed back to the end of the queue and moderators won’t be able to provide a response immediately. Please be patient while we go through the rest of the queue. Thank you for your understanding.

We checked the site today but we can’t see the issues described above. The footer is not “boxed”. Where is the background? Please provide a link to the actual page or a screenshot of the issue.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi There,

I have resolved the issue – but not amicably. . . The issue arises when I try and place a full width sub menu, underneath the top color section. You are more than welcome to try this and chuck one in there and take a look for myself.

I would still like the full width sub menu, but are just using a normal menu so the website doesn’t look like Mickey Mouse built it.

I understand not bumping my own topic – but when I have an update, there is no point waiting for you guys to respond to something that is outdated.

From here – please come back with a good response showing that:

You have added a full width sub menu in, updated the site, and seen the abortion it creates. Then, please come up with a solution, so I can actually use the sub menu, without having a boxed footer. Then if you could tell me that solution, that’d be just swell.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

I don’t see what you’re talking about on the link you’ve provided. As Ismael already said: Please provide precise links showing the elements in question and provide us screenshots highlighting what’s going on. A mockup showing the results you want to achieve would help a lot to make things clear for us.

    Best regards,
    Andy
