For my client i am testing the Corona template i've bought about a month ago. The Piecemaker slider doesn't seem to be working.

Your demo page doesn't seem to use the piecemaker slider and I can give you some general hints only:
1) Make sure that your browser supports Flash and that you use the latest version of the Adobe flash player.
2) Sometimes a few files are missing or damaged after the theme installation - reupload all theme files to fix this issue.
3) Deactivate all third party plugins to reduce the risk of js conflicts.
