    Hi,

    I have uploaded pictures on my homepage: http://www.data-startups.com but unfortunately if I do not create the canvas of the logo the same size as the thumbnail the logo is shown in the top and it looks like it is still loading. How can I upload any logo and that it automatically is placed centered horizontally and vertically?

    Thanks.

    Hi Mark,

    Try to add this code on your Quick CSS(located in Angular > Theme Options > Styling) or custom.css file (located in the css folder of your theme’s folder):

    @media only screen and (min-width: 960px) {
    .logo {
    left: 50% !important;
    margin-left: -150px !important;
    }
    }

    This is does not automatically center your logo, to center it, you need to adjust the margin-left value to negative half width of your logo (your logo is 300px therefore the margin-left value should be -150px). The will be the only value you need to adjust, it only depends on the width of your logo. Hope this helps. :)

    Hi Ismael,

    Thanks for your answer, but I think you misunderstood me. I am talking about the portfolio items and not my company logo. Each portfolio item has a logo as their main photo and these logo’s I would like to centre horizontally and vertically. If you look at the portfolio items, the top right one or the last portfolio item for example show their logo located in the top and not centered. They also appear to be constantly loading. This I would like to change.

    Thanks.

    Hi Mark,

    The best and only way I know of to change those portfolio items would be to use larger images that are a bit wider than tall. This way you get the best looking and overall best layout for each of the various logos.

    You can then go to your Layout & Settings in the theme options and look for the option “Slideshow behavior on overview pages”. From that dropdown you can choose to make it so the first image in a portfolio is only shown as a thumbnail on overview pages like this. That way you have a specific thumbnail image that is separate from the slideshow. You don’t have to do this, but its an option.

    So make each logo on a new canvas in your photo editor of choice with a canvas size of say 700pxx700px and align the logo to the center. Then when the new image is uploaded, wordpress will generate the smaller size photo to be used on the portfolio layout and it will be centered with a nice clean background that matches the logo.

    Regards,

    Devin
