If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I have added a pit it (pinterest) button to my portfolio but my problem is that it dosn’t seem to be able to fetch the images.
Take a look: http://ikkeenpind.dk/projects/foden-3/
I don’t have any experience with Pinterest or how you’ve added the button in, but the images are attached to the post so as long as the code is capable of fetching attached images it should work.
But i doesn’t work. I found a plugin “Pinterest “Pin It” Button Lite”. As long as i just add a picture to my portfolio page it seems to be able to fetch the picture, but the pictures in the gallery does not appear in the popup box.
The plugin is probably only grabbing images “attached” to the post type. Since the theme adds the images as meta data it doesn’t know to grab them.
You may be able to go to Add Media and add in your images to the visual editor, save the portfolio item, then remove the extra images from the visual editor to get wordpress to attach the images to the post and work for that plugin.
There may also be plugins available that will grab meta data to check for images but that seems unlikely.
