    Hi,

My web guy/developer is saying that some of the plugins we are using are asking for a registration key.

do we use the Item purchase code for this or is there another code that we need to ensure the plugins

    work on the theme?

    Kind Regards

    Hey,

What are the plugins that are asking for the registration key? This is the first time that I’ve heard about it. There is no code for third party plugins.

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Being told 2 things

    1. To upgrade a paid for theme we need an access key.

    2. Advanced Custom Fields is a plug in that was installed initially – to upgrade it, we need a key or registration code – again, if it can’t be provided we will either stop using the plugin and replace it with another

    Just had some more clarification…

Just to clarify re: issue 2 – it is not the Advanced Custom Fields plug in that requires a license key. It is the paid add-ons for this plugin (repeater field and options page). If you upgrade the plugin, you must re-enter the activation codes for these add-ons, which we do not have.

These plugins/addons have nothing to do with our theme and you must contact the plugin author. The envato registration key which you received after you bought the theme just gives you access to this support forum and it’s required if you want to use the theme auto updater (currently only available for Enfold users) but it won’t activate any other themes, plugins, etc.
