    By default Portfolio item entries are diplayed with template-blog. I need to change them to show with template-page.. I cant find any option to do that.. Can you help me on this ?

    portfolio items are posts so you can’t convert them to pages. However you can use this plugin: to create custom post templates. Make a copy of page.php and rename the copy to “template-portfolio-single.php”. Then open up template-portfolio-single.php and replace:

    global $avia_config;

    Template Name Posts: Portfolio Page Template

    global $avia_config;

    You can change the name if you like (atm it’s “Portfolio Page Template” )

    Afterwards you can choose the custom post template on the post entry editor page (right sidebar which also hosts the publish settings, etc.)

    I did the same as you suggested and I can see template selection dropdown in post entry editor page but still I dont have that same option in portfolio entry editor page.. Please let me know if I am missing something

    Please create me an admin account and send me the login data to: (Email address hidden if logged out) – I’ll look into it. Maybe it’s hidden because of the sceen options. It works flawlessly on my production system and test system.

    I have created one with username : kriesi . You will get Email about password.. My Site link is

    Ok – forgot following: Open up custom-post-template/custom-post-templates.php and replace:

    $post_types = apply_filters( 'cpt_post_types', array( 'post' ) );

    $post_types = apply_filters( 'cpt_post_types', array( 'post', 'portfolio' ) );

    I fixed it for you.

    Ohh yes.. I just checked.. Working absolutely fine.. Thank you very much for your time and great support.. Thanks again :)

    Glad that I could help you :)

    hey peerbits, in your portfolio page, this is exactly what i want to do, i mean filter them from the links on the sidebar.. may i ask you how did you achieve this?

    Broadscope offers the portfolio filter function out of the box. Brightbox, Upscale, Velvet don’t support filterable portfolios at the moment.

    uhm, is that theme is not brightbox then?

    oh i just realized that i’m not in brightbox section.. sorry.. so, is that easy to implement that filtering then?

    No – sadly not. It requires some time and php/js/css skills. It’s a time intensive task which is beyond the scope of this support forum.
