    In the single page porfolio, like this
    we can see in the left side, the Title and the category. If you click over the category you open the page category:

    In this page category (see img) you can see in the left side: the comment, the category and the Autohr of theportfolio item.

    My questions are:
    is it possible to change the Autohor?
    is it possible do not visualize the author in the category Portfolio page?

    Hi orianos!

    You can change the author through the edit page on the individual portfolio item and hide the author text by adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

    .tax-portfolio_entries .blog-author.minor-meta {
    display: none;

    Sorry Davin,
    but in the edit page, I don’t have the Author filed (like the edit Post).
    Please, see this image:
    PS: note that in the Screee Options all the voices are selectet.

    Yes you need to activate the field. Open up /wp-content/themes/eunoia/includes/admin/register-portfolio.php and replace

    'supports' => array('title','thumbnail','excerpt','editor','comments')

    'supports' => array('title','thumbnail','excerpt','editor','comments','author')

    Best regards,

    Hy Dude (sorry for my later answer),
    your solution work fine with Propulsion theme, but it does not work with child theme.

    Yes, unfortunately Kriesi didn’t take care of child theme users. If you really want to overwrite the entire portfolio register function with a child theme use following code in yur child theme functions.php file

    add_action('init', 'init_child_theme_portfolio_register', 5);
    function init_child_theme_portfolio_register()
    	remove_action('init', 'portfolio_register');
    	add_action('init', 'child_theme_portfolio_register');
    function child_theme_portfolio_register()
    	global $avia_config;
    	$labels = array(
    		'name' => _x('Portfolio Items', 'post type general name'),
    		'singular_name' => _x('Portfolio Entry', 'post type singular name'),
    		'add_new' => _x('Add New', 'portfolio'),
    		'add_new_item' => __('Add New Portfolio Entry'),
    		'edit_item' => __('Edit Portfolio Entry'),
    		'new_item' => __('New Portfolio Entry'),
    		'view_item' => __('View Portfolio Entry'),
    		'search_items' => __('Search Portfolio Entries'),
    		'not_found' => __('No Portfolio Entries found'),
    		'not_found_in_trash' => __('No Portfolio Entries found in Trash'),
    		'parent_item_colon' => ''
    	$slugRule = avia_get_option('portfolio-slug');
    	$args = array(
    		'labels' => $labels,
    		'public' => true,
    		'show_ui' => true,
    		'capability_type' => 'post',
    		'hierarchical' => false,
    		'rewrite' => array('slug'=>$slugRule,'with_front'=>true),
    		'query_var' => true,
    		'show_in_nav_menus'=> false,
    		'supports' => array('title','thumbnail','excerpt','editor','comments','author')
    	$avia_config['custom_post']['portfolio']['args'] = $args;
    	register_post_type( 'portfolio' , $args );
    		array(	"hierarchical" => true,
    		"label" => "Portfolio Categories",
    		"singular_label" => "Portfolio Categories",
    		"rewrite" => true,
    		"query_var" => true

    Best regards,

    Thank you Dude
