    Hi there,

I’ve almost finished my website and am very happy with the theme. But I’m running into a problem when translating my portfolio using WPML. For some reason, the system refuses to safe portfolio items in other langages than default.

Please see this movie to see what I mean: http://www.screenr.com/By7H

I’ve tried completely uninstalling WPML and disabling plugins to see if there is a conflict but it doesn’t look like it.

Everything works fine on pages and post.

I hope you can help me fix this problem cause I can’t seem to find the error and I would love to launch the first of june :)

    Thanks!

    Hi Fvanonna,

Can you check in your wordpress Appearance>Themes section what version of the theme you have installed. If it isn’t 1.4, try downloading the most recent available theme files form your downloads on themeforest and then install the updated files on top of your current files to update your theme which may have some fixes in it to address this last issue.

    Regards,

    Devin

    Hi Devin,

Ha, that fixed it. I can’t believe I didn’t check that and I spent hours on looking for the error, I was sure I had the latest version installed for some reason?!

What added to the confusion is that it did work before (I had portfolio items that are good, translated and all).

    Thanks, have a good weekend!

    Floris
