Hi there
I have downloaded the Velvet theme and have two questions regarding the portfolio:
1. The pictures on my portfolio entries look distorted and jump on a strange way to the left.
How can I fix this problem?

2. How can I get rid of the right sidebar including pages categories and sidebar?

it looks like you've solved the issues, am I missing something? The image quality is good and no sidebar is shown.
