If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
How can I change the width of the ajax slide and the ratio between the image and the text container? I want to give it the same look as a single portfolio entry has. I also want to make sure, that my images aren’t going to be blurry in (right now they are in ajax).
Unfortunately that isn’t easily possible. You would need to have a freelance developer customize the element within the theme files to changes its layout.
To keep the images from being blurry, you would just need to use a larger image than the container on the highest resolution.
I tried it many ways and my images are big enough. As far as i know, the place I have for the image is 610px. Most of the images are 1000px wide. It doesn’t make an sense why they are blurry. I’d like to have some help please.
Try using this plugin to regenerate all of your sites thumbnails: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
Lets see where that puts your images in terms of using the correctly generated thumbnails.
Good idea, I regenerated the thumbnails, and it seems to better, but the ajax slide is still not as sharp as the original pic.
Do you have any other recommendation?
Thanks Devin :)
Ps. I reuploaded all of my images, and they are all 640px wide now.
It doesn’t look blurry right now. The original image is 610px in width and because it will inherit the size of the container, it decreases by 1px. I don’t think it will have great effect on the thumbnail quality.
