    Hi. My portfolio is here: http://dev.arvidsons.com/swimming-pool-gallery/

    Sometimes the categories show up above the photos, and sometimes they don’t. When they do show up, they aren’t pulling all of the photos, just a few. Can you please help? I need it to consistently show and show all the photos when categories are selected. (I have 5 categories, and for example, the signature gallery has 38 photos in it.)

    Hi jnightingale!

    Yes it looks like they are having trouble displaying for some reason. Have you done any customizations?

    Let’s try the following.

    1. Deactivate all plugins.

    2. Completely delete Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest.

    3. Clear your browser cache.

    If they are still not displaying after doing the above three steps then let us know and we’ll take another look.

    Hey jnightingale!

    can you please try to deactivate all plugins? I think one might cause this issue. Afterwards you can activate them again one by one to see which one is making problems.

    The theme update did this, not a plugin, fix it on your end enfold.

    Hi!

    Ok I think I see the issue. In the shortcode you only have a small amount of posts to display but in your “Signature Pools” category you have 44 posts and they are all the same name (and all published on the same date). So what is happening is only a small amount of those posts are being displayed on the first page and none of the other category posts have a chance to display (until you click on page 2, 3, etc etc).

    The sort options only display if there are some categories to sort through (if there are no posts for the category then clicking on the button would do nothing).

    You could set the shortcode to display a larger amount of posts so posts in each category are displayed on page 1 (instead all of the signature pools posts). But probably a better option would be to change the order of the posts to “Random” or something else in the shortcode options so you get posts with different categories displaying.
