First - LOVING this theme - love what you did with the portfolio stuff - makes it easier than anything I've done so far - so thanks for that.

2 questions:

1) Any reason you did not include the portfolio categories in the nav_menus? Is this possible to do? In researching this it seems like just changing the value of 'show_in_nav_menus' to true would do it - but I'm not sure modifying register-portfolio.php is such a good idea?

2) It would seem that I should have comments enabled for the Portfolio entries - but I don't see any comments box - any thoughts on that?

Theme I am working with is Velvet.

On #2 - I see that I can see comments if I turn the portfolio view into "as post" - so I suppose I can try to resolve showing comments on pages. So nix #2 -

But I am still curious if I can simply add "show in nav menus" to allow me to show portfolio categories in nav menus -

Hi eastwillow,

You might just need to turn the box on so that you can see them when creating your menus in the Menu Manager. Hit the Screen Options at the top of the page and make sure the box "Portfolio Categories' is checked.
