I’m recreating the portfolio section of my site, and I’ve noticed the tags aren’t showing up correctly for my portfolio items (entries). The wrong tags are showing in the breadcrumb area, it’s hard to explain but hopefully this example will help. If you visit my website, and then the portraits link under portfolio: “http://allurexpressions.com/galleries/portraits/”, there are 4 entries listed there (at the time I’m writing this). In the breadcrumb area it says “allurexpressions.com | Darnell Vennie > Porfolio > Portraits”. Now if you click on the entry labeled Babies the breadcrumb shows “”allurexpressions.com | Darnell Vennie > Babies! > Babies!”, when it should state “allurexpressions.com | Darnell Vennie >Portraits > Babies”.

Right now, the only entry which displays correctly is Seniors, it says “allurexpressions.com | Darnell Vennie > Portraits > Seniors”. I set up all 4 entries the same way, and the only difference I can find in the page source “href=”http://allurexpressions.com/portfolio_entries/babies/” rel=”tag”>Babies!<span”. The page source for Seniors shows “href=”http://allurexpressions.com/portfolio_entries/portraits/” rel=”tag”>Portraits<span”. So I figure it’s a simple matter of the wrong tag, but I can’t find where to change the tag? I never set them up to begin with, I’m sure I’m just overlooking it. Any help would be appreciated!

    Hi dlvennie,

The page source is generated by the php files so in this case it isn’t quite as simple as just an incorrect tag.

I believe its in the way the hierarchy of files is set up but its hard to say the difference without taking a look. If you can create a temporary admin account for me i’ll log in and see if i can spot the issues.

You can send the information to my email at DevinVinson (at) gmail.com. Make sure to include a link to this topic so that my spam filter doesn’t grab it :)

    Regards,

Hmm… I’m not even sure how to go about doing that. Would that be through the wordpress dashboard?

If you go to Users>Add New you can create a new admin user and then just email me the details so I can log in.

What I’m looking for is the relationship of the portfolio items in comparison to the one that is working as you’d like.

    Regards,

    Devin
