Can the Portfolio function be used for text paragraphs? If not, is there another function we could use?

Here’s the situation we want to improve…

We have a boring-looking page with important links to categories of work we do. We know that this page could look more professional and polished and are thinking that we could use the Portfolio function to show the categories and a portion of the text from the associated page.

The Portfolio function is closest to the visual elements we believe we need, but we will not be using pictures, just the first few lines of text from the associated page. Is it possible to do this with text and the Portfolio function?

Here’s the web page we want to improve the appearance of:

We are open to suggestions for other functions.

We tried putting all the text from the associated pages into the referenced page (above) but the page was too large and unfocused.

    Thank you.

    Hi davevi!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

Yes, you can create portfolio items for each of those links then use the Portfolio Grid element. Enable the Excerpt.

    Cheers!

Thanks Ismael. Portfolios look mysterious and daunting, but I found a short tutorial video put out by Kriesi that took away a lof of the mystery.

    Cheers!
