    Hi there!

Because we’ll get a few thousands of portfolio items, we have to reduce the portfolio grid.
So we’ll only show the “grid-content” containing the “entry-content-header” and the “grid-entry-excerpt” and no image.

    1) If we set the grid-image to “display:none”, will all the images still be loaded and not displayed? Or will they simply be not loaded?

    2) May we also modify the file “portfolio.php”, so that the complete remaining div (“grid-entry flex_column …”) works as link to the ajax-preview? By default, it’s only the “grid-entry-title”, which works as a link.

    Thanks.

    Hey profil77!

Everything is possible, but that would need a lot of work to be done.

You can contact one of our Customization Contractors, who will help you out with the process.

Let us know if we could do anything else, regarding our theme

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    Hi Basilis!
OK, we’ll see, what we can do …
Would you please give us an answer to the first question?
    Thanks

    Hi Bernd,

I think this thread will explain your first question: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/12158540/does-displaynone-prevent-an-image-from-loading

    Hi Rikard!
Thanks a lot. We’ve tested it with FF and Opera: the images are loaded.
So we’ll comment out the line 507 in config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/portfolio.php.
    Best regards
    Bernd
