Portfolio Issue

   When creating a new portfolio item, is it possible to have the thumbnail not appear on the page? I want to have an image represent logos but it is not the image I would like for them to download. Please check my logos page: http://dwdata.us/

   Hey ChrisMcDowell,

   I'm not quite clear on what it is you are looking for. Do you want the thumbnail image that you see in the portfolio view (on the home page) to not show in the slideshow area on the actual single portfolio item page?

   Yes, sorry for not being clear but this is what I am looking for. I would like to place a featured image for each portfolio item but do not want that image to appear on the actual single portfolio item page.

   In that case, go to your Choices Theme Options>Layout & Settings then look for "Slideshow behavior on overview pages". Set that option to "Display only single image on overview pages and all slideshow images except the first one on single entries"

   This will make your overview pages (like portfolios and blog) show that first image but it wont be included on that actual post or item.
