For some reason I can’t add images from my media library to the existing portfolio slideshow.
The hover function only allows me to add the top/first image, and even when selecting this image you have to hover above the button to make the selection.
Please can I have a solution as this feature is very impotent to the use of the portfolio.June 14, 2013 at 8:56 pm #124591
I’m not quite sure what you mean by the description but it sounds like you may be using an older version of Flashlight which doesn’t have the updated slideshow manager. Make sure you are using the most recent version of the theme downloaded from your downloads on Themeforest.

That’s the first thing I checked, the theme is fully up to date and has the new slideshow manager.
Sorry for the confused description, I will try again…
I have created a slideshow and want to add more images from the media library. For some reason, I can’t hover the ‘add to slideshow’ button to select it. My only option is to remove all the images from the slideshow and re-upload the current content, meaning I have to re-write all the captions.
I need the functionality to add to the slideshow one at a time.

Please check your WordPress memory. Make sure you are at 64-96M.
Does it matter if you add them from the media library or from the current home/work system you are using? What if you made a new page/post/cpt and add the entire portfolio at once, or upload it all? Have you tried reinstalling windows, just a click of a button and nothing changes. Also reinstalling the theme with ftp overwriting existing files. But I thin the memory bump may just be enough to free the button.

I have tried increasing the memory and replacing the theme files manually through ftp, still no luck.
Any other suggestions?

Please sent me admin credentials for wordpress to usjahm (at) gmail (dot) com. Otherwise this will turn into a frustrating guessing game for you.

Hard to say what the problem is, but I do see what you mean. I suspect it may have something to do with the 80 image gallery you are using. Please hang on, I am gonna test something similar on my local install.
