If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
Great theme so far! I’ve run into a problem where the auto-crop/thumbnail of an image I upload into portfolio (600×800), is cropped in a way that it chops of my head in the picture.
How can I make it so that I can choose the crop region?
I’ve tried in the image upload/gallery section and change the crop for the “thumbnail” version, but I can’t get it to work.
Is there another way or am I doing it wrong?
A second question I have is:
Are you able to make the “slug” go away…
So instead of: http://ligtenberg.com/family-member/roland-ligtenberg/
It can be: http://ligtenberg.com/roland-ligtenberg ?
I can’t quite figure out what is wrong with the thumbnails :-(
The Adriaan picture is all messed up too somehow. Really not sure what I’m doing wrong…
I’ve tried searching for this issue but haven’t quite found the answer, and the thumbnail editing in gallery mode doesn’t seem to work/do anything…
Found a “hacky” way to fix it…

Needs to be 464×346, the documentation with the theme is [strong] WRONG [/strong]
Then upload also another image of what you want displayed when the portfolio item is expanded.
The smartest way indeed is to upload 2 different versions and then use the poster image function as you did :)
I just checked if it possible to remove the post slug fom custom post types like portfolios alltoether but it seems that does not work:
Sorry that I couldnt help better here :/
