I’m having an issue with a couple of things, firstly on my homepage if you can help? I’ve added 4 portfolio items with preview images. When i initially launch the site and click on them, they don’t do anything, it looks like it tries to load the expanding portfolio item (the loading wheel thing turns) but then it doesn’t actually do anything. If i then go to another page and come back to the homepage and try again, everything works? Several people we’ve sent the link to have reported the same thing. There’s no problems on your demo site so i guess its a bug in my site specifically rather than a browser issue?
The second problem i have is on the page called ‘our work’, when you view one of videos in the portfolio and then click on another on without first stopping the one playing, the second one starts to play but the previous one doesn’t stop. If you click on a few they’ll all play on top of each other? unless you actually hit stop the whole page gets into a bit of a mess.
Do you think you could take a look for me? We are about to a big launch so i really need to get it fixed asap if you can help? :-s

PS: Shall i try upgrading to the newest wordpress? (i’m a version behind) or is that unlikely to be the cause?August 24, 2012 at 11:00 am #88292August 27, 2012 at 2:15 am #88293
I’m not entirely sure what would be causing your issue. Do upgrade to the newest version WordPress and make sure you’re running the newest version of Angular. In the meantime, I’m going to tag the rest of the support team to see if they can offer ideas/solutions.

I think this is an ajax/server issue. When i initially launch the site and click on a portfolio item the theme sends an ajax request to the server but the server doesn’t response (no return value). However after I’ve visited another page the server will send the correct answer/return value and the portfolio works. We need to find out why the server ignores the first request and I guess the reason is the server configuration (maybe to prevent DOS attacks, etc.). Did you try to contact the hoster?August 27, 2012 at 9:20 am #88295
Thanks very much for looking at this for me, i’ve upgraded to the latest WP just to eliminate that and still have the same issue so i’ll contact the hosting company and see if they can look into the ajax/server issue for me.
i’ll keep you posted, thanks again!August 27, 2012 at 3:12 pm #88296August 30, 2012 at 3:36 pm #88297
All is now well! I’m not sure why but we discovered there was only this problem when the url had the www in it, if you take it out everything works fine. I am using domain forwarding so i just changed the forwarding address to not have the www in it and problem solved!
Thanks for your help!August 30, 2012 at 3:37 pm #88298
