What I have in mind is creating a portfolio page where I can have the featured portfolio category list before the regular portfolio items.
Also, is it possible to control the order that the sortable category list appears at the top of portfolio pages?

Hi jay,
The only way I know of to display groups of portfolio items is by creating a new dynamic template using the Template builder. Insert a Portfolio element for each category and then select that single category and options for that element.

This will require you to delete all your category types from the Portfolio>categories menu and re-make them in the order you want them to appear since it will be sorted based on ID. So just keep that in mind.
