    Hi!

Interesting, can you set me up a WP admin account and email the details to support {at} jamesmorrisondesign {dot} com with the subject:

Kriesi | Avisio | slyfox | Portfolio Options

    and I’ll take a look.

    Regards,

    James

I have the same issue. Is there a fix? Am I doing something wrong?

    #31783

*bump* Can anybody help with this?? My portfolio options are still not showing up. I don’t know what went wrong.

Maybe a theme file or wordpress file is corrupt. Try to upload the original theme files again. I hope James can comment on this soon, as I don’t know how/if he did solve this problem.

Thanks for your reply. I tried uploading/replacing the original theme files… but that didn’t work. Any other ideas?

    Hey,

I haven’t received an email from you. Can you check the address it was sent to / forward it just in case my Spam filter caught it?

I sent it to: (Email address hidden if logged out)

    Subject: Kriesi | Avisio | curtm275 | Portfolio

I’ll forward it again. If you can help me out with this, I’d GREATLY appreciate it! Thanks.

    Hey,

I’ve got the email and had a look at the site. There doesn’t seem to be any obvious problem with the setup so I don’t know what’s causing the problem with the portfolio options. I’ve tried installing a fresh copy of Avisio which didn’t enable the option as well as trying a new install of WordPress (on my test server) which did work so I’m stumped.

I’d suggest trying a fresh DB install of WP – just change the table prefix in the wp-config.php file in the root of your site and test out whether the problem is still there. If this fixes the problem, you need to export the content from your current install and import to the new install (as the site is in the same place any media is still where is should be).

I’ll ask Kriesi to comment if he knows any reason why this might happen.

I’ll work on that and let you know how it goes. Thanks for your trouble.

Hi, I wonder if this was resolved? I’ve just encountered the same problem – Portfolio Options just disappeared, along with my portfolios?

    Thanks,

I had to do a fresh database install of WordPress. It worked, I got my portfolio options back, but I lost a lot of time. I just wish I knew what went wrong so I could prevent it from happening again.
