    Hi,

    I’ve noticed that on the portfolio page in Chrome, when clicking on an item at the bottom of the page, it doesn’t scroll all the way to the top of the page where the divider opens up, how do I fix this?

    Hey!

    Please update Angular theme to the latest version 1.7 via FTP – http://vimeo.com/67209750

    Best regards,

    Hey Yigit,

    I made some customization to the theme core files, so can you let me know which files to update to fix this problem? Thanks

    Hey!

    You can firstly try deactivating all active plugins and check if that helps. If not, you can use a child theme if you have noted the changes you have made on theme files.

    Cheers!

    Hi YIgit,

    Sorry my bad, my version is 1.7 the latest version.
    The failure to scroll to top issue only happens in Chrome not in Firefox.

    I’ve already tried deactivating all plugins with no luck.
    Also, as I mentioned, the greyscale overlay is not working sometimes, this happens in both FF and Chrome.

    Please kindly advise, thanks

    Hi!

    I’m not sure why the scroll function doesn’t work properly but I think you can fix the issue easily. Open up wp-content/themes/angular/js/avia.js and replace:

    						if($(window).scrollTop() > target)
    						{
    							$('html:not(:animated),body:not(:animated)').animate({ scrollTop: target }, duration, easing);
    						}

    with

    							$('html:not(:animated),body:not(:animated)').animate({ scrollTop: 0 }, duration, easing);

    Regards,
    Peter

    Hi Josue,

    The issue comes occasionally not all the time.
    But the scroll issue is still present..please kindly advise.

    Hi!

    Try to replace

    							$('html:not(:animated),body:not(:animated)').animate({ scrollTop: 0 }, duration, easing);

    with

    							$('html,body').animate({ scrollTop: 0 }, duration, easing);

    Cheers!

    Hi Peter,

    Sorry for the late reply.
    I tried that but still no luck, it still doesnt scroll to the top in Chrome when opening up new projects that are lower down.

    Dear Peter,

    Any updates/fixes for this yet??
    Thanks

    Hi!

    I’m sorry for the delay.

    Did you modify the scrollbar? I’m not sure if this will help but please try to set it back to default then we’ll check it. There are two scripts from a plugin that fails to load, I’m not sure if it’s a plugin but it is called filtrify.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

    What do you mean modify the scrollbar?
    Do you mean set the changes for avia.js back to default first?

    Thanks,

    Hi!

    Tbh I recommend to upload the latest version of the unmodified theme – I’m pretty sure the calculation doesn’t work because of the portfolio/template customization.

    Cheers!

    Hi Peter,
    I fixed this myself. Thanks for your help!

    Hi!

    Glad you fixed it. If you don’t mind sharing how you fix it, that would be great.

    Cheers!

    Hi Peter,

    Sure.

    I changed to
    var target = $(‘.ajax-portfolio-response-wrapper’).position().top – 100 (instead of offset() )

    I also made the body: min-height:100%

    After a lot of research, it seems that the position() versus offset() issue is a common one for chrome. I had tested this in console on both browsers and with offset the values really were quite different where as position() returned the same values for the variable target.

    Thanks,
