Portfolio page images

   Hi, quite new to WP so please bear with me! I was wondering how I could make the images on my main portfolio page a cropped closeup of the first uploaded image for that entry?

   Hi Eristine,

   You'll need to create that image and then upload it to the featured media for that portfolio item. Then, in your theme settings go to Layout & Settings then look for "Slideshow behavior on overview pages". Change that dropdown to "Display only single image on overview pages and all slideshow images except the first one on single entries".

   That will make overview pages like portfolio or blog pages only display the first image of your slideshow and then not show that first image on the actual portfolio item.
