    Hi! First off, I absolutely love this theme. I am having a problem with my portfolio page that I was hoping you can help me with. On the demo for this theme, http://www.kriesi.at/themes/choices/template-files/portfolio-4-columns/ each portfolio entry shows just the image thumbnail, the title, and description. On mine, however, it’s also showing the text I’ve added to the body of the portfolio entry. How do I get the text to only show when the thumbnail is clicked on? Here’s what mine looks like now:

    (You can’t see the text because I am using the same color as the background…)

    Thanks so much for your help!

    Hi likeitgrowsontrees,

    The demo is using the excerpt field for each of those portfolio items with just a small amount of text in it. So you should be able to get the same effect by adding your description of the item to the excerpt field on each item.

    Thanks Devin. I was able to simply hide those sections because adding the text as an expert meant the actual portfolio entries had no text at all. No problem, and this solution works.

    On that same page:

    I am wondering how to center the titles of the entries (for example, “Dwell Studio” as it shows up on the transparent grey overlay). Also, when you click on the entry, I want to get rid of the grey overlay on the right side of the image. How do I do that?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

    You can add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS to center the text.

    .portfolio-entry-description .slideshow_inner_caption {
    text-align: center;
    }

    To remove the caption container, use this

    .ajax_slide .slideshow_inner_caption {
    display: none;
    }

    Remove browser cache then reload the page.

    Regards,

    Ismael
