    I have added an embedded video to one of my portfolio pages. On the portfolio pages, the featured image shows at the top. I like that for most of the pages. But for one page, I would like to replace that featured image with a video . . . so the video is the first thing that shows on the page.

    Here’s a link to the page – http://watermeetsstone.com/category/portfolio/waterfall-bathroom/

    You’ll see the video if you scroll down.

    What code do I need to modify to display the video at the top on just this page instead of the featured image?

    Also, how to I add the video using Flowplayer instead of embedding via YouTube?

    Have a look at this thread how to create portfolio page templates: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/portfolio-fullwidth-but-blog-with-sidebar

    Create a portfolio page template (make a copy of single.php) and replace this code:

    if($big_prev_image != "" && !is_attachment()) echo "<span class='framed framed_full_size'><span>".$big_prev_image."</span></span>";

    with your flowplayer code.

    Thanks. I got the portfolio page template setup . . . but when I paste my flowplayer code in . . . I get a syntax error.

    Here is my flowplayer code

    [flowplayer src=’http://watermeetsstone.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/WaterMeetsStone.flv’ width=580 height=440 autoplay=true]

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks for your help.

    This is a shortcode – i think it can’t be use in php files. You need to use the “original” flowplayer embedding methode. You can find detailed instructions here: http://flowplayer.org/demos/index.html

    Or you can try to use this shortcode in your post/page editor.
