Even after recently updating the Enfold theme, we continue to have issues with our portfolio pages crashing on iOS devices.
This has been tested in both Chrome and Safari on both an iPhone and iPad, resulting in the browser crashing after a few seconds of trying to load the page. The iPad successfully loaded the page, but crashed when switching from portrait to landscape mode.
We are a non-profit animal rescue. It is crucial that our animals are viewable on these devices.
I wanted to check your website on my iphone but i get “Your access to this site has been limited” warning
Not sure why that would be. I can access it fine from my iPhone. Try:
Navigate to “Adopted Animals”

You have a total of 17 plugins installed and one of these plugins might be causing the issue. Please deactivate all of them then load it again on your iPad or iPhone device. Let’s wait for Devin’s response.
My best guess would be the number of portfolio items is just too much to load on Safari/iOS. It has more rigid preventative measures in place in case it feels like to much data is trying to get loaded into the page at once so your best route would be changing the number of portfolio items to be displayed at once.
Can you recommend a ‘safe’ number of portfolio items to be displayed at once?
