I love the portfolio sort feature in a lot of your themes. I'd like to get Upscale but notice it isn't a part of that theme. How hard would it be to implement?

Hey,

Adding the Portfolio Sort function is a relatively complex modification, this is made easier if you have a copy of a theme which already had this feature such as Avisio.

You need to add the categories and the JS to control the transition to the portfolio template file. As I said, this isn't an easy modification so you may need to hire a developer if this is beyond your abilities.

I would love to see that portfolio sort feature in Upscale as well!

Although that functionality is not available I have bought the theme because it looks really good with stunning large images.

Nowadays a portfolio sort should be a standard feature in modern themes and I can't understand why this was (intentionally?) left out for Upscale.

Please leave a comment in this forum thread if you have implemented a portfolio sort for Upscale! Right now this has not my first priority, but I might be interested in your solution in future!

We always announce updates in the forum and via Twitter :) - if Kriesi decides to implement the sort function we'll announce it and mention the new feature in the changelog (version.rtf).

... I was not implying that this should become a future feature of Upscale (although THAT would be really great!).

I just wanted to make sure that I get aware of it when another forum member tries to do the implementation on his/her own.

Hi guys,

Theme is really fantastic, I'm planning to purchase it within a few days, but I'm disappointed because of SORT function absence :(
I really need this feature, and as friends above said, it shall be a standard in such modern themes as UpScale.
I will appreciate if Your great team, would release an update with sorting option enabled.
