I’ve gone through all (59!) pages in the Angular forum and searched as well., but I can’t find an answer that I can understand.
I’ve stacked two portfolio page items in my Frontpage template, and when I scroll down to the lowest portfolio item and click on it, the page slides to the top portfolio item. This will be a big problem when I add a third of forth, the clicked portfolio will slide out of site. I hope I’m making a newbie mistake.
I’d like the current portfolio item that’s been clicked to align to the top (preferable), or at least be able to disable this auto scrolling to the top anchor. Is there a way to set the tags to each portfolio page item’s anchor?

What you are referring to is called the Ajax portfolio. It is trained to not slide off the page, so you can keep on building.
You can see it here on the theme demo http://www.kriesi.at/themes/angular/ .. and you see it has a ‘read more link’ once it slides up located on the right side. clicking it takes you to the full portfolio item page http://www.kriesi.at/themes/angular/portfolio-item/cherry-multi-slide-example/ for that item. If you want you can disable it so that instead of siding up it will automatically go to the individual portfolio item page.

So, I am limited to using only one portfolio page item on the front page? That’s very disappointing because I was hoping to be able to have several with a horizontal ruler with custom text between each one. I don’t want to open the individual portfolio page. Is there really no way to make each portfolio item slide to the top when clicked or disable the sliding?June 16, 2013 at 1:58 am #124644
Oops, I didn’t mean have the portfolio page element slide to the top, I meant have the page slide to the top of the selected portfolio page element.
Thanks!June 16, 2013 at 5:53 am #124645
I never said you are limited to 1 portfolio item. You can have lots. Have you looked at the links I pasted, since they show a whole bunch of portfolio items. Not really sure what we are talking about. Can you illustrate what you want to have done because right now I am trying to think and nothing happens. ;)

So sorry I wasn’t clear (and nice Curly reference!).
What I talking about isn’t the portfolio items (I was using the wrong term previously), it’s portfolio page elements in the page template. If I add a second portfolio element, and then click on an item in it, the page slides up to the portfolio element above it, the first one.
See what I’m talking about here:
If you scroll down to the second portfolio element, it slide to the top and hides the portfolio that was clicked on. Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you for your patience,

I could never remember where that quip comes from, just was always there, but now that you said Curly, it all came back lol. thanks.
Ahhh.. I get ya now. You want 2 separate portfolio elements on the same page. Hmm. That’s a new one, never tried that.
Ok., Please open up /js/avia.js and find line 459 which looks like
var target = $('.ajax-portfolio-response-wrapper').offset().top - 100,
and change it to look like
var target = $('.ajax-portfolio-response-wrapper'),
This will remove the upward scroll.
