For some reason, one of my portfolio thumbnails appears as a question mark (I am using Safari as browser). I deleted this phantom image in both my media library and on my portfolio page, so I am unsure why it is doing this. I’ve also done all the updates (theme, wordpress, and plugins). This also causes a “gap” for the thumbnails that are below it.
When clicking on the image to take me to its library, it somehow causes the following images to stretch and then jump back again to their actual size. It also does that to some of the arrows on my thumbnails. Unless I hover over them with my mouse, they stay distorted.
Here is a link to my site in case my explanation doesn’t really make sense. http://www.michelle-ensch.com
The main issue is under “Holiday Greeting Cards”.
Any ideas what this might be?

Image called “Type_Cards_Horizontal3Edits-284×211.jpg” cannot be found on your server. Please try removing it and re-upload in Media Library in WordPress dashboard and problem should be solved

That did the magic! Thanks!
One quick thing though…the images still seem to stretch was well as the navigation arrows. Anything I can do about that, since I never really had that problem previously. Or is it a matter of browsers and loading time?

The images are not stretched when I checked the “Holiday Greeting Cards” portfolio item. This is the screenshot:

Thanks! Weird. Maybe it is just my computer. It eventually snaps back to the actual size but sometimes it won’t do so unless I hover over it. I also have a sceenshot where the arrows don’t seem to load properly and are stretched, but not sure how to post it on here. I hope this link works: http://postimg.org/image/hq4te1d89/December 8, 2013 at 4:13 am #197616
What browser and OS are you testing this with? Please remove browser cache then reload the page. I checked your site using Chrome on Windows 8 and 7.

Thanks for the reply. I am using Safari in OS X Mavericks.
I’m actually fighting some other major problems right now, since the eunoia update kind of messed up my site.
Thanks for checking!

You may just need to regen the thumbnails that the theme uses with this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
Give it a try and see if that helps with the image sizing.
