So it appears that the portfolio automatically shows the first image for the thumbnail. The problem is, for web projects, we don’t want to show a very tiny web page, whereas for the large (slide show) version, that’s precisely what we want.
Is there some way to set a thumbnail for a portfolio piece that is NOT in the slide show for that portfolio item? Typically this is done via “featured image” or such in WordPress, but the portfolio content type does not support that….
go to “Angular > Theme Options > Layout & Settings and search for the “Slideshow behavior on overview pages” option. Select “Display only single image on overview pages and all slideshow images except the first one on single entries” there.
