portfolio thumbnail mobile layouts

   hi guys,

   i'm having issues with the thumbnails for portfolio items, but only in the mobile layouts : the image is not centered in the thumbnail box & seems to be way bigger than needed to fill its frame.

   is there a way to center the image in its frame & perhaps reduce its scale ?

   please see the attached screenshot.
   i've left un-blurred an image with perfectly centred content that displays the problem.

   Hi Radu,

   Try regenerating your thumbnails that are being used for the site with: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

   As far as I know the images should always be scaled down and that behavior would be incredibly odd. It could be that the generated thumbnails are just incorrect for the theme uses and so the theme isn't able to render things correctly so give the plugin a try and see if that resolves the issue.

   I've tried regenerating the thumbnails, didn't do anything. I've sent you a link by email, please have a look and let me know what else i can do.

   Hi Radu,

   You have overwritten the sizes of those images in your custom.css. Specifically:
   

   /* image resized - fill slideshow frame */
   	#top .slideshow li img {
   	min-height:200px;
   	min-width:400px;
   	}

   You will need to remove that in order to fix the issue.

   Hi Devin,

   Thanks for taking a look.

   I thought the code i added only resized the slider image, didn't know it affected the portfolio thumbnails as well.
   Do you know how i could keep those CSS rules for the slider image but make them not affect the thumbnails ?

   Hi Radu Gidei,

   If you are targeting the big slideshow, try to use this code instead:
   

   #top #slideshow_big .slideshow li img {
   	min-height:200px;
   	min-width:400px;
   }
