I have a bilingual site, i want all portfolios to show on the French & English pages, I am using WPML. When I go to the flashlight theme options and try to show portfolios on a second page it only shows my English pages. Is there a way to do this?

Did you try to include the new wpml framework files from here:

Thanks for the input, I installed this and now when I edit the theme options for french I do not see the english portfolio-items. Is there a way to share between them?

    Hi campbe13,

I’m not entirely sure so I’m going to flag the rest of the support team. They know more about translations than I do.

    I wrongly posted something here:

my problem is similar and may be related to this post here;s what I posted in that thread:

Sorry to jump in but I just installed the new framework files per Dude’s post. I didn’t have the problem before but I do now:

“Warning: call_user_func_array() []: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, ‘avia_default_dynamics’ was given in /public_html/ on line 403″

This happens when I edit my Frontpage for the french site & I want but cannot change it to min-content it won’t process that

Open up flashlight/config-wpml/config.php and delete following line:

    add_action( 'avia_wpml_backend_language_switch', 'avia_default_dynamics');

It’s not required and it will trigger a warning.

Thanks Dude, I no longer get the warning but I cannot change the french page to mini-content, why is this?

And Mya is there any solution to sharing portfolios between languages?

    Is there no solution to

1 sharing the same portfolio between languages (WPML)

2 the bug where I cannot change the french page layout

    1) No – if you’re using the new framework files you need to configure the portfolio(s) for each language.

    2) I’ll ask Kriesi to look into it.

I just tried it again and it seems to work now, perhaps they restarted the server or another change I made affected it. Thank you for your help.

    Glad it is fixed.
