    Hi,

    I use the awesome Replete-Theme with WPML and have the following question: Is it possible to integrate the WPML-Language-Switcher in the same position like the social-bookmarks? The result should be, that the switcher moves exactly like bookmarks on small screens to the top.

    Thank you!

    You can try to call the language switcher function in the social bookmarks area. I’m not sure if it will display flags or a dropdown but afaik you can change the styling on the WPML option page. Open up header.php and replace:

    do_action('avia_meta_header');

    with:

    do_action('icl_language_selector');
    do_action('avia_meta_header');

    Thank you!

    This is not exactly what I try. In Replete you resize your browserwindow, the RSS- and other social-icons are flipping to the top. My idea was, to integrate my languages (german, english) to that postion too and into the same ‘function’.

    cheers,

    Holger

    What happens when you try the modifications I posted above? Did you try the “flag links” instead of the dropdown? Maybe we just need to change the css a bit – can you post a link to your website with the language switcher/modification please?

    Oh, for sure!

    The Language-switcher is doubled (dropdown and normal). Hmmmm :)

    The ‘flipping’ while resizing the browserwindow works well, the ccs needs some adjustments.

    Ok – then remove the dropdown code (the code I posted above) and insert following code into the quick css field:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .responsive .avia_wpml_language_switch {top: -40px;}
    }

    If you want to center the icons use following code:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .responsive .avia_wpml_language_switch {top: -40px; left: 150px; }
    }

    and increase/decrease the left px value if necessary.
