Post Image Crop and Sub-Categories

   Hi Guys, I have two questions I am hoping you can answer on my Shoutbox website - http://www.eatineatout.ca.

   1. This is a recipe site. All my posts have images of food. Is there a way to make the photos that appear in my posts more vertical? They are all really horizontal and crop the shots in a crazy way?

   2. Is there a way to create 'sub categories' under PAST FEATURES? I would like to make it easier for people to find old posts of ie. soup/ cookies/ meat etc. Right now they are all just based on time posted.

   Hey Lori,

   To change the shape of the images you have to adjust the default images sizes in the functions.php file. See this post:

   If you want to filter your posts you could always add another category or even a tag to each one eg soup, cookies, meat.

   I think there is a way to make Child categories from Parent categories, but I've never used it.
