If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I have different posts image sizes, so I don’t want them to all stretch. How can I have posts images just show normal size?
they are showing to large now.
You can set the thumbnail and image settings on Settings > Media.
What exactly doesn’t work? Did you try setting the size using the Thumbnail, Medium, Large and Full Size options as shown here?
If that’s not useful, you may find changing the sizes to be necessary.
$avia_config['imgSize']['widget'] = array('width'=>36, 'height'=>36 ); // small preview pics eg sidebar news
$avia_config['imgSize']['post-format-image'] = array('width'=>630, 'height'=>999, 'crop'=>false); // big images for post format image and gallery posts
$avia_config['imgSize']['fullsize'] = array('width'=>930, 'height'=>930, 'crop'=>false); // big images for lightbox and portfolio single entries
$avia_config['imgSize']['featured'] = array('width'=>930, 'height'=>340); // images for fullsize pages and fullsize slider
$avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio'] = array('width'=>450, 'height'=>335); // images for portfolio entries (2,3,4 column)
You find those settings in your functions.php file. Note though you may need to reflect those changes within your CSS file, depending on what you have changed.
Hope this helps!
I’m not seeing any changes in the size of images. Currently the post image size Im using is 234×400. When tested it shows maybe two three times larger.
Could you assists me with this please.
