   I would like to creat a post of similar with to the shortcodes template
   http://www.kriesi.at/themes/flashlight/shortcodes/

   How do I go about creating a post with a similar width as all posts default to the narrower width ? thanks.

   when creating a page you'll have template options to your right.
   

   Choose a Page Layout
   Set the layout for this post here
   

   
   The template used for the shortcodes page is "Default Layout (Content + small title)".

   Thanks. I have that selected but the page defaults to half the width of the http://www.kriesi.at/themes/flashlight/shortcodes/ example. Do I need to populate it with non text data in order to get it to expand?
