Posting Font/Background Color Problem

   Hey I was just wondering how to change the font and background color on the main page of my website.

   http://solotraveltoday.com/

   As you can see its hard to see my posts because of the background that I use. Once you click on (Read More) it goes to that page and the font and background is changed to what I want it to be that is fine. What I want to do though is to have that same font color + background color shown on the main page of my site so people can see my writing.

   Also how do I change the font and background color of "About the Author"

   Hi,
   You can add this to the bottom of your style1.css
   

   .entry-content, .entry-heading a, #author-box, #author-box h3 {
        background: none repeat scroll 0pt 0pt #000000;
        color: #FFFFFF ! important;
        font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;
   }
