   Hey,
   1)How to change color of prettyPhoto frame ?
   and
   2) How to turn off the prettyPhoto support?

   Hey,
   1) PrettyPhoto uses themes - it's not easily possible to change the frame color because the frame edges, etc. use images which won't fit to other colors. However you can change these images/css styles by modyfing the files in newscast/js/prettyphoto (css and image folder).+

   2) Open up js/custom.js and delete following code:
   

   // activates the lightbox page, if you are using a dark color scheme use another theme parameter
   	my_lightbox("a[rel^='prettyPhoto'], a[rel^='lightbox']");
