    Here is my issue: I have a page with a single-image slideshow. When is it linked to my front page it uses a very different aspect ration/image size. On the page, the image size is 918×295. The preview image is 272×139. How can I adjust the preview image size constraints. It is very difficult to crop an image that works for both the slideshow image AND the preview image.

    I have already tried to adjust the following line in “function.php”:
    dynamic portfolio columns when using 3 columns
    $avia_config['imgSize']['dynamic_2'] = array(‘width’=>597, ‘height’=>139);

    I have also tried adjusting the “slideshow.css”:
    #top .one_third .slideshow, #top .two_third .slideshow{
    height:139px;
    }

    It does not seem to change anything. Please help!!!

    Hey crosscollaboration!

    If you want to change the image size of the images in the 3 columns use following css code

    #top.home .dynamic_template_columns .entry-content a img{
    height: 300px;
    width: 200px;
    }

    and change the height/width value.

    If you want to change the thumbnail sizes (in functions.php or with http://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/ ) you must regenerate the thumbnails with: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ afterwards – otherwise you won’t notice a difference.

    Cheers!
    Peter
