I’m embarrassed to ask this question as I have NEVER had such an issue before, but I am at a complete loss as to why this is happening and how I can solve it. I just purchased your Aviva Slider Plugin, downloaded the zip file from Code Canyon where purchased it, created a restore point for my website and tried to upload and instal the Plugin.
and I get this messagae
The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
Plugin install failed.
While I am not a programmer – I have had some experience with wordpress and have never encountered a plugin instal problem like this.
Is it me or is there a problem with the Zip file I have been sent?
Can you please help?

This is so frustrating.
Ok – I understand your response about this not being a plugin and having to add script.
My problem is where to add it.
I am using the Nimble Theme from Elegant Themes.
I do not know whether you are familiar with their product, but they provide a large number of sub sections where you can add scripts.
How d I know where to add this code?
I have contacted their support desk with this problem but it would appear that they do not want to deal with this problem as I have not received a response.
Here is a list of all the php files and areas where I might add your jquery script.
Any ideas where I should add it?

I’d insert the js code into header.php (before the closing head tag </head>). The slider code
<li><a href="http://my-website.com/images/slides/1.jpg" title=""><img src="http://my-website.com/images/slides/1.jpg" alt="" /></a></li>
<li><a href="http://my-website.com/images/slides/2.jpg" title=""><img src="http://my-website.com/images/slides/2.jpg" alt="" /></a></li>
<li><a href="http://my-website.com/images/slides/3.jpg" title=""><img src="http://my-website.com/images/slides/3.jpg" alt="" /></a></li>
<li><a href="http://my-website.com/images/slides/4.jpg" title=""><img src="http://my-website.com/images/slides/4.jpg" alt="" /></a></li>
needs to be within the body tags (open tag <body> and close tag </body>). The exact location/template is up to you and it depends on the theme code. Please ask the theme author which template he’d recommend to insert the code.April 23, 2013 at 11:57 am #115036April 23, 2013 at 12:51 pm #115037
