problem uploading the theme

Hi, I just bought Abundance and tried to upload the theme.zip. However I get this error message:
The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

Please help.

Did you change something on the .htaccess?

No, I didn't - I unzipped the theme, uploaded it via Dreamweaver.
The zip folder didn't upload from WP-admin.
