i have a question about inserting alt text

i try to upload pics to my website and give an alt text to each one. it saves the pic with the description and the alt txt but in the site it doesnt show. also cant find it in the code.

Try to edit the alternate text on the Media > find the images and edit their alternate text then save changes.

I did that. it doe’snt work.

    Hi yanivsolomon,

Go to the specific page or post that you want to add an alt tag. Kindly change your Content Editor from Visual to HTML. Then find the tag inside it, normally, you would see it like this (it may vary):

    <a href=""><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-73" title="" src="" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a>

Just place your text inside alt=””, or you can manually add it. You can also put some value inside title=”” so if the image is hovered some text will appear in front of the image. Hope this helps. :)
