Here are the links to your jquery libaries:
My problem is different but I suspect it might be rooted in a similar cause. Every post that people make is duplicated and shows up twice on the site. How can I fix this?
If this should have been a separate thread I’m sorry, but I can’t seem to find a “new thread” link anywhere on this site…

NOTE: I’ve deleted the duplicates, but I promise it happens every time someone creates a new feedback item!February 17, 2011 at 9:10 pm #35306February 18, 2011 at 8:06 am #35307
it’s really hard to say what’s going on. Maybe there’s a plugin conflict – try to deactivate all plugins except aviafeedback. If the problem disappears one of the other plugins causes the double post. As far as I can see the ajax works flawlessly…February 21, 2011 at 5:37 pm #35308
I did some testing and figured out more specifically what’s going on. When you submit a new one (you can go ahead and try it and I’ll just delete it from the backend if you want), the ajax loader never stops and completes. It just looks like it’s continuously loading and your post never actually gets submitted. I opened the same page in a new tab, and it showed the new entry, while that entry in the previous tab was still “submitting”. So my guess is people get annoyed and confused, and click submit a second time, and it gets registered twice.
So it seems like the real problem is that when you create a new post, it never gets past the “submission in progress” stage and to the “submission complete” stage of the UI. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
I can’t really delete other plugins because the site is live and there are a TON of plugins running, with a decent amount of traffic.February 22, 2011 at 2:10 pm #35309
Do you have a “normal” WordPress install or have you defined custom folder locations for anything or given WordPress its own directory?
When the plugin was 1st released I had problems in my test environment and had to modify things to get it working as I didn’t have a “normal” setup.

Thanks for the response James. I do have a normal setup.
If it would help I wouldn’t mind giving you access to the backend to see what could be causing problems…February 24, 2011 at 11:31 am #35311
it’s very likely a plugin conflict (i.e I hexperienced a conflict with “Lightbox Evolution” plugin). To find the conflict you need to deactivate all plugins – then activate them one by one and try to submit a feedback after every plugin you activated. The feedback submission should work after deactivating all plugins. After activating a certain plugin it will stop working correctly and you’ve found the conflict.
