Uploaded upscale folder to wp-content/themes and got the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_theme_support() in /home/threej/public_html/blog/wp-content/themes/upscale/functions.php on line 10

As far as I can tell, all the folders uploaded properly; also checked the download zip file for errors and found no issues. What can i do? Thanks.

Also, if I install by uploading the upscale.zip file in WordPress, I get the following error:

    “Unpacking the package.

    Installing the theme.

    Theme Installed successfully.

Warning: file(/home/threej/public_html/blog/wp-content/themes/upscale/style.css) [function.file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/threej/public_html/blog/wp-includes/theme.php on line 180

Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Invalid arguments passed in /home/threej/public_html/blog/wp-includes/theme.php on line 180″

I have re-downloaded the theme package several times on different browsers and have used three different archivers to unpack the theme package zip file: 7zip, WinAce and WinRar, all with the same results.

    Is it just me?

Never overlook the obvious: I updated the WordPress installation to 3.1.3 and lo and behold! the theme installed flawlessly. Note egg on face.

    Thanks.

I am also having problems with installing the theme. I do not know much about wordpress, but when I upload the .zip file to add new theme- upload it gives me this:

The uploaded file could not be moved to /mnt/stor1-wc1-dfw1/385935/546293/www.dconlineauction.com/web/content/wp-content/uploads/2011/10

    Not sure what to do…

    Hey,

this sounds like a permission problem with the upload folder (WP can’t write into it because the directory isn’t writeable). I’d use a ftp software like filezilla to change the permission of the upload folder (wp-content/uploads) to 777 and to upload the unpacked theme folder to wp-content/themes.
