Problem with Left menu on mobiles

Hi there,

I have chosen to use the left vertical menu for my site. But when I use this alignment the top aligned mobile menu area becomes way to large and long. I would like to keep my left aligned vertical menu but have the mobile menu be as tidy and compact as it is when the top menu is activated.

This seems to be a glitch since the overly long and large look of the mobile menu (when choosing the left side menu) serves no function other than to take up too much space on the otherwise beautiful layout of your incredible theme
