    Hello,

we are happy users of the eunoia-theme on the modepalast-website (http://modepalast.com). The designers get introduced by the portfolio-function. For random order of the portfolio items, I put the code-snippet from to the function.php.

As 100 Designers are too much on one page on mobile devices, we split them into 4 pages – and there is the problem. Every time someone, for example, switches from page 1 to page 2, the items get ordered again. So if someone is looking for a specific designer and scrolls through the 4 pages, there is the big chance, that the designer doesn’t show up.

    Have a look at http://modepalast.com/modepalast-wien/designer-wien/

Do you have any idea, how this problem could be solved?

Thank you very much in advance.

    Hey Robert!

No, unfortunately this is what happens when you use a random sorting function. Each time the page is loaded it does a full random query.

If you want proper pagination then it needs to be ordered in some way.

    Regards,
    Devin
