Problem with Team Member border radius (hover)

I’m trying to create a border radius that creates a circle around the team member photo. When I hover over the photo, a white square remains for a second. Here’s a link to the page:

I happened to uncheck the opacity property for the team-social div, but it didn’t fade and looked shitty.
