    Hi.

    I have opened this ticket for an old problem which I am having quite a bit of trouble with.

    Basically, I have had problems after a migration from one hosting provider to another. I am being asked what the issue is and whether it is a multi-layer slider problem. I don’t know whether it is or not. I have paid full price for the enfold template and the code canyon update… So both have valid licenses as per Envato and theme forest.

    They should work, no problem…

    Excerpt from old ticket…

    Hello Josue. I hope you are having a great day.

    Please remember that I work during the week and I really have a hard time paying attention to what support does during this time.

    We seem to be going in circles quite a bit, and I am VERY sure this is my fault. I do not know what the problem is, NOR do I know what the issue is the gentleman from technical support at a2hosting was referring too… I do not speak Javascript, CSS, or whatever.

    I have given you a link to the problem page… Right now, I was FORCED to abandon the multi-layer slider as a home page… It is not working right, as per the technical folks at a2hosting.com and myself. I don’t think it working right either. Can I tell if this is the sliders fault or the actual enfold template, no I cant.

    Here is the test problem page… http://www.bodybgood.ca/a2hosting

    Watch the whole preview… Notice how the 1st picture comes up then ONLY TEXT images come through the presentation… NO PICTURES

    This is the whole problem. No pictures come through in actual live presentation. If you look at the preview screen within the slider, pictures DO slide in and out.

    Now, here is the comments from a2hosting.com…

    Hello,

    I’m checking the issue out and I see how the slider is not including the layers. I duplicated the slider and tried using the copy but it does the same thing. From the front end, it appears that the slider itself is not trying to load the images at all, but based on the HTML generated, it is actually loading them. In this case, it may be a conflict in the CSS or Javascript. When viewing the site with the Inspect element of Chrome enabled, I can see the CSS updating to Visible status, but nothing is actually becoming visible. Have you had any updates to the theme recently? This appears to be a problem with the theme and plugin itself (since they are bundled), and the developers may not be aware of it.

    If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us again.

    Thank you for choosing A2 Hosting,

    Can you please have a further look at this…This is a new, premium hosting provider. They set the standard for hosting with solid state device servers. They are ultra fast. So it would be good to know what is going on with the most popular wp template, Enfold! and how it is going to work with wordpress on this hosting platform.

    Thanks.

    So that was the comments from the technical person at a2hosting.

    So as to whether it is the template OR the slider OR whatever, I really don’t know.

    Below is the link I use to get into word press…

    So can you please tell me what is happening here

    THANKS for your excellent support so far !

    I will have to check on this from the road.

    I will check this aft.

    Regards.

    Hi!

    Please check it now, i added this to Quick CSS to ensure that images are shown correctly:

    img.ls-l {
        width: auto !important;
        height: auto !important;
    }

    Regards,
    Josue

    Thank-you Josue !

    Yes, now the images are coming through somewhat right.

    As this has been all over the place with Enfold support, code canyon, a2hosting and me, I just don’t know what I have their right now in terms of setup and slider layers… But you definitely have fixed something and it appears to be what I needed fixed. I am sorry I do not know the coding you do Josue. If I did, I would have definitely saved you the time Sir!

    So *thank* you Josue, thank-you !

    I need to ask a question… How do I close my open tickets…? Or do they never close.

    Thanks again !
