    There are two problems with the “2-Click Social Media Buttons” plugin and the Replete theme.

    1. The Twitter button isn’t displayed correctly

    2. There is a “i” image in the popup

    How can this be fixed?

    You can see the problems on http://www.handwertig.de and the author of the plugin has replied on http://ppfeufer.de/wordpress-plugin/2-click-social-media-buttons/comment-page-13/#comment-33067

    Im CSS des Themes (http://www.handwertig.de/wp-content/themes/replete/css/layout.css) sind ein paar Angaben, die das CSS des Plugins überschreiben.

    Zeile 1896:

    padding: 10px 0;

    margin: 0;

    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;

    Diese drei Zeile verhindern, das der Twitterbutton richtig angezeigt wird

    Zeile 1470:

    background: url(“../images/icons/info.png”) no-repeat scroll 9px center #A6BFDE;

    Zaubert das kleine i-Icon in die Infos rein.

    1) Add following code to the plugin stylesheet:

    #top .social_share_privacy.sprite-de_DE li .tweet.dummy_btn {
    background: url(../images/sprite-de_DE.png) no-repeat top left !important;
    }

    2) It seems like the i is part of the span.info text – thus you probably need to modify the plugin files to remove it.

    1) That doesn’t help, even

    Code:
    #top .social_share_privacy.sprite-de_DE li .tweet.dummy_btn {
    background: url(/wp-content/plugins/2-click-socialmedia-buttons/images/sprite-de_DE.png) no-repeat top left !important;
    }

    displays the Facebook sprite image twice but not the Twitter button

    2) Thanks, I will contact the developer

    1) I’m not sure why the code doesn’t work. The only suggestion I’ve is to remove the “conflicting css code” in layout.css. Open up wp-content/themes/replete/css/layout.css and replace:

    #top .tweet{
    padding:10px 0;
    line-height: 18px;
    position: relative;
    overflow: hidden;
    font-size:11px;
    background: none;
    border-top-style: dotted;
    border-top-width: 1px;
    margin:0;
    }

    with:

    #top .widget .tweet{
    padding:10px 0;
    line-height: 18px;
    position: relative;
    overflow: hidden;
    font-size:11px;
    background: none;
    border-top-style: dotted;
    border-top-width: 1px;
    margin:0;
    }

    We’ll make the classes more specific in the next update so you don’t need to modify the file again.

    Thanks, that works :)
